In Its Own Way

“All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”
Leo Tolstoy , Anna Karenina

There is always someone like the duckling in the lower left corner. In unknown danger, not in with the group, crossing upstream, almost alone. Is it you? Really? Are you sure?

  1. I’m more like the duckling hiding within the small bushes on the top left. Sometimes, I just want to isolate myself from everyone in the family for a much needed momentary break.

    • Good eyes. There were actually two up there (one is out of frame). They were following the group (as was the one at the bottom, I just caught him as he made a wrong turn).
