“Blessed are they who have the gift of making friends, for it is one of God’s best gifts. It involves many things, but above all, the power of going out of one’s self, and appreciating whatever is noble and loving in another.”
—-Thomas Hughes
“Mr. Wickham is blessed with such happy manners as may ensure his MAKING friends–whether he may be equally capable of RETAINING them, is less certain.”
—-Jane Austen
Making new friends and holding on to the ones you already have are two of the biggest challenges in my life, especially the first one. It’s so hard to trust anyone anymore.

Don’t forget the dachshund’s tail…..:)

We have spent many years in rv park, were I had to walk my dog several times a day,in which I might tell 8 to 10 people a morning, “Good Morning”. Many times they would stop to talk, which is the ground work for a friendship. I’ve been doing that for 15 years.
