I saw some turtles like that at lake Bled in Slovenia. They are not indigenous but arrived there because people tired of them as pets and released them into the wild!
Most of the indigenous turtles here are box turtles (calm and pleasant) or snapping turtles (bite your hand off). These in the photo don’t look like either, I don’t know if they are introduced or not.
